Welcome!

Welcome to my Healthy Harmony. Being healthy is so important for me and my family. I believe that you have to feel good on the inside to see the results on the outside. For me to feel good on the inside and outside I love to run. I take in my surroundings and all the beautiful things nature has to give us. Instantly I feel better and love to set a goal each day on how fast I want to be or where I want to run. Looking forward to sharing my thoughts! This picture I added is the art museum in Philadelphia, PA where I ran to from Camden , NJ at the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. If you know the area there are many sites to see and this is how I accomplish long runs. Total run for that day was 7 miles and it was exhilarating.

  1. Hey Renee,
That is a great picture. I love to run long distances as well. I find it so peaceful to be outside and enjoying my surrounding while exercises my body and mind all at the same time.
Thanks for the idea about taking pictures. I always have my phone with me so next time I go for a run I am going to take pictures and post them.
It was great reading your post and I look forward to chatting with you in the future.
    Thanks,
    Melissa Brandt

  2. Renee,

I have used the visualization technique for many years and it definately works. Amazing what a person can achieve when they put their mind to it. The mind is such a powerful tool.

  3. Hi Rene,
I enjoyed the blog and the picture of Philly. I work right around the corner from there- Whole Foods Market!

  4. Yahimba that is awesome that you are so close! It was a great run that day. I am right over the bridge in Jersey but as you know Philly has so many sites to see and I have lived here all my life and never went to the art museum. It was a great day and I look forward to running again in the fall when my kids are back to school and me and my running buddy get together!
